Summer arts is exciting in Toronto, so much to experience. Please let me offer you one such opportunity which runs all summer to fit your busy schedule. A chance to see my painting in person and within a gallery, which is a rare occurrence.
Today I went for a car ride. Early in my healing journey I couldn’t tolerate movement of the car, it caused dizziness, headaches, muscle aches, fatigue, stress, anxiety and so much more. The city was beyond overwhelming with stimulation, I had to stop taking rides in the car.
Five years later I set out for a drive south towards the lake in Toronto to accompany Brandon while he delivered my new Garden Painting to the Blue Crow Gallery for the 6th Annual Summer Show. I love my city and have missed adventures within the streets and neighbourhoods very much.
Early this afternoon we all hopped into our estate wagon and took a drive as a family, this is what we have always done up until I got sick. The dogs saw loads of dogs being walked by their loved ones. People were happily out enjoying their weekend doing errands and catching bites to eat at fabulous local TO eatery’s. I love the energy of Toronto it is part of who I am.
